I just picked a briggs complete cowl w/doors and roof rails. Its in really nice shape, so i really didnt want to pass it up, plus the price was right. I also got the back cap as well, but what i really need is the rear quarter w/the windows in it so i can get started. Its a 28. Did you use a model "a" bed or a "t" bed?

That sounds about right on that cut. Im running a spring behind axle set up, and my concern on that is if i run an "a" box with it, will the wheel base be tooooooo long???!!! I like the stretched look, but within being proportionate to. I know , i didnt spell that right.

Well I've got some more things done on the project the last 3-4 mounths. Been working mostly on body work ets. I will try to get some more pic's of the project in the next couple days. The box I'm working on is a T box shorted etc. The floor of the box have been made up from 18 gauge steel that I put on the break to make the supports for the 18 gauge steel floor. I hope to get the box done this weekend and have it in paint next week..

I'm looking at my typical flat black with old Ford blue scallops with a white pin striping. I've also been thinking about a old Ford blue flame with a white pin striping.

    Something on this order.

This is where it's at. It's got it's new coat of black. And I've got a pic of the floor that will have 3/4" wood floor boards added soon.

Man, Danny, that work on the interior floor is immaculate. Really, really clean work. It's going to be a bit of shame to cover it up.
Truck's looking bad ass. Are you running any sort of baffles in the pipes?

I'm going to make it to the Valley show for sure.

Thanks bro. I've got baffles I made & I think they work ok. The floor on the bottom of the truck is just like VW pans. On seams etc...very clean look.

Danny, the truck is looking good. It's come along way man. I look forward to seeing it in person. Maybe stealing a cold P.B.R. from you and telling a few lies. Keep us posted on the progress. Gary

Well, it's been some time ago seens I posted up some stuff for you all. I've been working on gettting the upholstery done with my Dad. This is part of the last steps of this build and I've been digging this stage. The upholstery is done up in a vinyl tuck n roll. The t.n.r. have taken up some time but its a cool look and well worth the time, to get the "old look". I used my 281-3 Singer to do the work/sewing.

My buddy Bob F came out to check out the 29 and took some new pic's. At this point I've got the windows in and finishing up on the carpet. My Buddy Bob helped get some of the parts cleaned up and ready to be modified (inside window trims seat frame etc) Thanks for the help.

Well I got some more done on the truck this weekend. I laid out the scallops Friday night and masked and painted Saturday with help from my buddy Bob F and my Dad. I started laying out the scallops Friday night. After walking away from it for some time bacuse I was not feeling it, to return after sometime and came up with what you see in the pics. Saturday Bob and my Dad stopped by to help. The help was great and fun, so I'm thankful to you guy's.. You know who you are.

The color of the scallops are old Ford blue and the pin strip will be in the new Ford blue color.

  28. Cool truck. I did one kinda like that a few years ago using a 31 town sedan 4 door. And I used a t bed also. They have much more room then an original A pu. If I could figure out how to post pics and not my avatar, Id show it. Oh well, Lifes a bitch then you marry and divorce one. LOL
