Just finalized my plane tickets and rent-a wreck.

Missed the last two, but no way I'm not helping break in Denise's new kitchen!!

Guess I can put up with the cold for a few days.

Getting closer!!!! bringing a '60 Ford F-100 Custom Cab with us this year from Muskegon.

Bump....This year I will also be bringing a 1963 cougarII show car from the Detroit Historical Societys collection to show in our club display...

 

I plan on being there. I am hoping to get some tips and advice from some of the stripers.

I am actually leaving right now for Detroit. I will be stopping in Dallas for the Autorama with Big Ken and the guys today then leaving Sunday night when the show let's out.......can't wait

 

Highlander... Any bum can give out a hard time about what they think of folks like us and our projects, or our attitudes or our opinions about what ever... I call all that "low hanging fruit"

But it takes a creative mind to hang with us and and be productive and creative about the next great project... Good thing there is room for both types downstairs and both types are welcome.... or Safari-Wagon would have a hard way to go... Its just that not all of us got the good taste and creativity column filled up real well... But we love all of God's children - even if they are a bit grumpy sometimes...

 

This place houses cars that can be seen nowhere else and some of the finest examples of cars you have come to know and love...

Getting fired up about the show, one week away, I head out next Wednesday morning. Will be there Thursday to set up in the Artist's Alley. Really looking forward to hangin' with everyone!

I dunno 'bout that, calling for 3-5" tomorrow, and another 4-6" between sunday and monday, here in Flint, and we are only about an hour or so north of Detroit. That could all change though, like it usually does.
It'll still be a good time either way.

 

The wagon is loaded up for the display, pulling for a dry ride down Wednesday so far the weather report says sunny let's hope so!

 

I'll be there Thursday-Sunday...helping a friend show up stairs, but should be spending plenty of time in the basement.

I am flying out Thrusday morning. Covering it for American Muscle Car Magazine.

 

I'm polishing and detailing right now...in the living room. Hey, its cold in the garage and I have a nicer TV in here. Trying to turn a show bike that gets daily use back into a show bike.

 

Well, finally we are down to one sleep before we get on the plane for London. On Wed., my son and I are off to Detroit with the package, that has been stored in London since early Oct., for an arrival at Cobo at 5:00 pm. I think I have been making plans for this adventure for about four years now and it's very hard to believe it is almost show time.
I hope I get to meet all of you, even though the Ghost Rider will be on the main floor .
