We all keep a little mad money for our rod funds right? A couple hundred stashed away from the wife so when we find that one great deal we can get without thinking. And we all have long wish lists to feed our hot rod habits, right?

Well, suppose someone gave you a thousand dollars cash, and the house-hold bills were all paid and you could just blow it anywhere on anything. What would you buy?

that mcdonalds crap 'll killyou. I'd buy a box of cubans and a nice 20 year old scotch.

  4. If I had a 20 year old Scotch or a Cuban, or even a 30 year old Italian my wife would probably kill me. :D

Actually that's a hard one to guess. I need to sort the title out on my Willys, I need gaskets for my 394 and rubber for my stude as well as paint and tires shocks etc.

I would probably have to prioritize, most likely get the Willys done and on the road so I have transportation then whatever is left over would go to getting my 394 ready to use, after that I'm guessing whatever my hydro needs to be right??? I usually have a pretty long list before i get to the frivolous stuff.

Oh and two things # one the bills are never all paid perhaps monthly but a grand won't pay them off and # two I never have to hide cash from the wife. It would probably not be prudent to mention the 20 or 30 year old whoever to her but money isn't something I have ever had to worry about.

Well, I do need a good five-speed overdrive trans. Then I'd buy a tank of gas, and whatever was left, if any, would go to the kids college fund.

The $ is hypothetical, and you won't allow more than $1,000?

I don't start dreamin' for nobody for less than 10K imagined dollars, pal...

I'd buy a thousand $1 scratch off lotto tickets - then I'd have some real dough to spend!

I think I'd just stuff it in my pocket and shut up. Put it away for the day when you come across something you can't live without.

I haven't planned out the next $1000 expenditure yet...I have the money, just need to get motivated to do the work.

But I'm guessing I will slowly piss it away on the old truck camper, and then the old truck. It's all being done as cheap as possible, there's no way to plan that much at once. I know at least $25 will go towards a gallon of white Rustoleum, and maybe a nice brush to apply it. I think I have enough sandpaper and bondo already.

I am really lucky ,money is not my largest concern.I did recently come up with $1350 by some wheeling and dealing. I'm spending it in the best place for it to benefit me. I'm taking the wife to Vegas and giving her $500 to blow. It will return me many times that amount in the future.Hug the little ones and spoil the close ones fellas,it works .
