Someone may come along and believe this false crap you have posted.

There is no such thing as a 'tire in a raw state'.

Tires made out of natural RUBBER were white. Because of rubber shortages during world war two, synthetics were developed and after the war tires have continued to be made of synthetic materials.

Thanks for pointing that out and in such a pleasant manner. Here's a little more on the subject.

1910. I post this because it's only a 14 year old kid that has lived a hard life but still looks happy. A smile, yes, but look at the wrinkles around his eyes. The kid looks 25. Heres the text that went with the photo: Click to enlarge.

May 1910. Wilmington, Delaware. "Frank F. Gibson, 1305 Linden Street. 14 years of age. Western Union Telegraph messenger No. 7. One year in service. Visits houses of prostitution. Guides soldiers to segregated district. Smokes. Still at school and works from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m."

Man painting car top with paintbrush.
Many guys painted their cars with brushes in the 1950's and it looked almost as good as spray.

Man trying to change tire using fence post as a jack. Wife helps.
Common occurance in the 50's and '60 and I did it myself w/wife.
Women helped when they had to back then and still stayed feminine and did all else that they had to.
