Found this a few miles from home. A 1920 something Oldsmobile. Oh yeah it is for sale $10K and the owner was dead serious. When pigs fly......

 

Sitting in a tn. junkyard.

 

Here's a couple from the parking lot at Kohlweiss Auto Parts in Redwood City. The Plymouth still looks pretty good.

I love this photo.....looks like a bunch of car cocoons. Dog42735 you have a wonderful collection of photos. Alot of the stuff in this thread qualifies for a new thread "sat and rotted"!

 

I'd rather see that car sitting there as a Cat House than becoming just another Rat Rod Abomination.

As it sits it looks more traditional than most low slung costume cars>

I agree looks like a Fiat Topolino....with Halibrand 12 spokes, their worth the price of admission.

 

Here's a '46 Mercury I snatched a couple years ago. The inide is what happens when you leave one window down for 40 years and animals move in. Was an interesting story, maybe I'll do a post on it sometime.

 

Do a post man, Im curious. Ive been wanting a 46 Merc 4dr sedan for several years, my dad restored one when he was young and sold it so that him and my mother could pay for their wedding.

Here in Ridgecrest, a local storage yard has a 56 Chevy convertible just sitting outside. Been there for 20 years. The top s shredded. Tail lights have been stolen. I'm waiting for the front seat to hit the ground. Does the guy want to sell it? No. "I'm going to fix it up"....when Hell freezes over....

Damn I love this thread, some poss are sad, some are good to see, and something some people need to realize is that if not for some of the hoarders, a lot of these cars would have been crushed years ago, not all hoarders mind you... but I have gotten a lot of cars from hoarders that supposedly never sell any of them, a lot tell me nobody has ever even asked before, and many many more say they get arrogant dicks coming in demanding cars... sad really.

I have been accused of hoarding just because I will not sell my 46 Ford bus, my DD 31 Pontiac or 2 others I have, everything else is for sale.

I'm going to post a lot of photos here, I hope you guys don't mind but some are kinda artsy, but all of these are my own photos, a couple of them are my own cars and trucks too, and feel free to ask anything about any photo.
