Careful snarley, there are a couple people here that get upset if they see individualism. LOL

    BTW, I like it!

I just spotted these Dodges while doing a search for something else.

Are those furniture dollies under the back tires? I've wondered if they would hold up to that kinda use!

A 1954 Fargo I traded a pair of skis and some Solmon SX90 ski boots for!

What's the story on the '36 4x4? Any more info on that one?

Nice looking truck! Although, unless Fargo ran the '53 Dodge bodystyle in '54, this is a '53 model year truck. Sometimes the old trucks were titled in the year they were sold, so some of them were titled as the year after its actual model year.

    Thanks for the compliment!

It was over 25 years ago... It might have been a 1953 Fargo? I was 16 or 17 at the time. I practically polished the paint off that truck even though the body was less than perfect. I drove it every where.

a few questions on this truck, 1-what is the lenght of the bed? 2- what size tire do you have on the back? 3- how much chop? and finally do you have any more pictures? i am working at trying to get the proportions correct for mine and from what i see in the 2 pictures you have here you have done a good job getting them right.
    thanks for the help..

  14. Love those old sweptline dodges......Im up to 23 that I have owned and sold over the years. The "4-eye" front of the '61-mid '65 has to be the best sweptline front they put on them.

Probably not as cool as some of those others but it's mine and I did it all myself. Soon to undergo a bit of a transformation or maybe get sold/traded because I really want an early 60's T-bird.

My 40 Hudson/Chevy. It is a 70's survivor and budget has kept me focused on keeping it on the road rather than doing much in the styling department, so don't judge it too harshly.

Me too, I have a soft spot for the 42-47 Ford, grew up with a 46 Ford glass-top bus, and a 47 grain truck, 45 Army truck and my neighbour across the road till last fall had a 44 grain truck! I still have most of a 46 Mercury truck in my back yard.

Don't worry, you're not alone in that! :D

I like this, as a I Hudson love them, but I have never seen one done like yours... would it be right to call it an ElCamino?;)

    Thanks! :D

Awesome! Love the old Dodge's, glad to hear of one getting used right. I'm pretty sure it was a '53, based on the body style (which changed in '54, most visible was the 1 piece windshield).

This is my latest '53 Dodge, hopefully I'll have it running relatively soon. It's a De Luxe cab with a low side bed and a fluid drive, column shifted 3 speed.
