  8. Well, a few reasons I can think of - they both can be fun & provide lots of pleasure, or NOT. But no matter what, eventually they're both gonna cost $$$$$$$$$ if you want 'em to do anything for ya! :)

I did notice the back fenders are a part of the body. I think you're right on that. I'm no walking encyclopedia of cars so I didn't want to make a statement and look like a fool. :)

I think you have pictures of two different cars. I believe that the top pic is of the original wooden hearse and the bottom pic is the fiberglass replica.

That is why I said "I think". Maybe somebody who knows for sure will chime in.

I will chime in since I know for sure. It's the original car. We purchased it at the RM Auction of the Ralph Whitworth Collection. The Petersen Museum has the fiberglass copy of the car in their collection.

    Cool!

Are you planning to put the wheels & tires back to how it was built? I always liked the version with the torque thrust's on it. Does it still run & drive?

I would definitely like to see more pictures of it. Maybe you could start a thread dedicated solely to the Boot Hill Express. I have liked it since I built a model of it when I was a kid.

Do you have any close up pictures of the engine?

  24. I agree. No matter how good they look, someone somewhere is tired of putting up with their shit.
