Event Coverage My 2011 Lincoln, NE swap meet photos

Me and my favorite brother in law Lawrence headed north for a 3.5 hour drive to attend the big Lincoln swap meet which is Sunday only. We arrived on Saturday morning and spent the day with my good pals G***erlouie (the Killer) and Grouchy SS (the Banker) and his lovely wife Swap Meet Cindy (the smart blonde). They showed us around all day and night and treated us like kings. Then it was up at 5 am and arrived at the swap meet around 6 am on Sunday and boy it was cold. Got warmer as the day went on of course. We moved fast and L bought lots of big heavy stuff for me to carry. The crowd got big by late morning. Throngs of people! We were done and headed home before noon. What a great weekend. I took some photos to show my pal Rich Venza in GA and thought maybe the rest of you might like to see them too.

my old man went up there and said everybody was very proud of their parts.

 

And then we saw Stanlow69 (on the right) from SW Iowa who is shown here with my personal bodyguard G***erlouie (the Killer).

Did g***erlouie buy some Mel Tillis accesories again? Wish I could have went. I hate missing a good swap meet. LOL

 

I wanted to buy this 348. Guy said he had it running yesterday in a truck and pulled it out just in time for the swap meet. I asked where the flywheel and starter was? He said, "oh, I left those at home." WTF? How am I supposed to start the thing? Frustrated, I had to p***.

 

Wish you could have been with us Scott! Yes, he is still on the hunt for that stuff!

I did my buying from Craigslist at Lincoln on Saturday and didn't get much at the swap meet. Bought a 283 SBC engine and 2 great signs.

 

****, all I have is rumors that you EXIST. I can't prove it because I have been looking for you for 3 years at least to no avail. You have to be a ghost !!!

Well, he is from down south so if you count brothers cousins and sisters ..............43 with a few undo***ented ones
