My fenders going to end up on this car? Car looks cool so far! Amazes me how much work Glassguy gets done with a beer store 20 yards away.
hey pal! i could be wrong but i think your fenders are the new rear whell openings.. honky will tell us.. and i wish the beer store would move closer,it was freezing in my truck driving over ther tonite!!! call ya soon homey we gotta catch up again..
see what im saying ??? there you have it! listen to your elders tristan, your much much older elders!
Exactly, ya whipper-snappers!!! Now you know we need daily updates with the way you work, Dave...bring'm on!
The pics dont do it justice. Daves Dad taught him well. I wish that I could have him do the whole car. What Dave didnt post is the pic after he ground off all that mar-glass. I guess this is why I am leaving it to the professional... And thank god I didnt bring the fenders to the shop. I know that Dave would have done canted quads instead and I would be back to muckin the rear quarters myself. I know that Dave wants the Suede Loafer or Mud*****er (havent decided on a name yet) out of the shop as he has some plans for the 'Olds'. Wait til you see what he does to that sumbitch. Stay tuned- I am not gonna be the one to spoil the suspense.
I agree with you guys also on this one...just tryin to make our boy Mr. Canted-Quad feel good!! So what are your plans for the front end, Honky??
the irony is that you all think theres a choice!!!! around here its my way, or you can have it my way!
...you sound like a frikin burger commercial!! Looks like you may have top do a ninga run to Honky's to get the job done, Dave!!!
For now, I am just going to put the nose on and run the '51 top grille peices and lower '50 grille pieces with the park lamps and then a '54 chevy center bar and teeth( need a few more teeth). I want to drive this thing this summer and dont want to get stuck messing with frenching headlights and tail lights and merc grille surround just yet. '50 bumper up front and '50 headlight bezels and '50 tails. Got some nice ,53 or ,54 studebaker caps. I want it to be a driving work in progress. As long as I can drive it, I will keep it. I do get impatient you know.. I need to unload the '50 Ford Tudor that I have so I am not tempted to start that so if you know anyone- have them drop me a line- no rush as it is buried under snow. Very solid body and floor w/ S/10 clip
10-4. I might be headed up to Bastan soon for a little time off, I will let ya know. I am a total history tool and Ive been dying to sight see, Christina has a conference for work and if'n I can get away Ill be up there. Gives me enough time to weld up a trailer to this Civic and clean Sam's woods out haha.
nice job cleanin that POS up, Dave...looks great! Now ya gotta drop the front end off, Honky...let Dave get it done, you know how much you don't like slingin the mud!!
Oh my- just saw these pics. Unbelievable! I wish that I had pics of when I started on this mess so that you could really see the transformation. Dave has done an outstanding job on this thing. Nice work man! Will look even better when the nose is on so you can see that the proportions work. Thanks Dave!
well the ol girl just left.. hers a few pics while waiting for the tow truck.. wait till you guys see this as it progresses! it is gonna be so bad****.. honky pulled off a miracle slamming this bad**** sled together out of a bunch of***** no one wanted... so keep on him boys so the ball keeps rollin!
