Event Coverage Stray Kat 500 May 6, 7 & 8, 2011

Your right Roger, I was depressed Saturday night. I enjoy driving them to much to go with
out for a month or so. I was hoping that I would grow out of that stage.

Its hard to look kool when all you have left to cruize is a '96 Roadmaster wagon.

I'm thinking about getting the turds chromed... Gotta have more bling

Needless to say we've had some problems this years with pack rats. About every five
years they seem to bless us.. We had a blast..

If it was up to my mechanic abilities it would never run again. Thank God for good friends!
Last couple of days I've been thinking about some valve covers. Have some kool ideas, I'll
have to get them on paper so I can post them. Hey Jerry how about them dirty caps!

SK500 update., We have 61 pre-entries and the Super 8 is booked and the host hotel is
getting close. If yo need to make a reservation need to soon.

Question?? Wichita Show... Is it Sept 10/11 as indicated on poster, or Sept 9/10 as indicated in type below poster?
Also, is it going to be at the Air Museum again?
Just wondering... I plan on being there!

They were the first thing I notice!!!!! Looks great on the old Merc!!!!!

 

Sept 9th (Friday) will be the Garage Krawl
Spet 10th (Saturday) the show will be at the aviation Museum
Spet 11th (Sunday) we want to go on a mini run somewhere. place to be named later.

Sorry for the confussion, we added the 11th just recently. Looking forward to seeing
your Merc.

I forgot to mention the feed at Yblock 292's place Friday evening (Sept 9th) is way kool.
Jack can burn a burger with the best of them.... LOL!!

 

I've already booked a day of my vacation so that I can finally make the garage crawl, finally going to make the cookout too!

Krobe said that he ran into a lot of people at the GNRS. He said that all of the kool people
were there. One of these days I'll be able to make it west. Days like this week, I might

Oh...guess I must've fallen off the "kool" wagon then...I wasn't at GNRS, besides, "they" wouldn't accept my '57, said it was too ugly and wasn't a '60's survivor...oh well, such is life...!!!

Need to book you flight out of N W Arkansas. $140.00 round trip. Flys into LAX. Couple of the guys got theres for $120.00 ROUND TRIP.

 

I might have been one of the few stuck at home...

Allegent Air flys out every thursday and comes back on sunday. Charter all the way. Direct flight. No frills.

Power parking is all my Merc can do at the moment.....brakes are kaput. Got all new set up from ECI, and hopefully will have it all back together in time for the SK. Won't be making it to the round up though.

Right now we have 160 pre-entries. This is more then we ever had at this time. We have
one kat flying in from Connetict, that is so far away I can' spell it.. LOL!! Lot of kool stuff
going on this year. Tribute to Carl Green is coming together with some kool kats attending
like Gene Winfield and Dave Stucky. Have another surprise hope to announce it next week.
