Painted the cab and spent a ridiculous number of hours rebuilding the tailgate.

Starting on the doors and fenders this weekend.

By the way...can anyone tell me how to post larger photos ?

    Post the picture like this
    [IMG]

Use the link address between [IMG]... where 'and' is the link http://whatever... you need to have the images on the web, like at an image sharing site ike flikr, or photobucket. [IMG] tells it the address is done.

If you use the attachment tool it will show up on the bottom of your post.

    Later,

    Mike
p.s. did I already say that I love the color of your truck?

It was a color that I picked from a old GM color chart at the place I buy my paint. I knew pretty much what I was looking for going in but couldn't quite describe it. The color settled on was from a 1958 Chevy paint sample called acadian green.

Jared...I'm starting on the front fenders tomorrow and hope to have them in paint in the next few days.

Things on the list to do before Roundup:

    - body work on the hood and front header. Paint
    - Trim front bumper
    - Finish bed installation
    - Tighten up a few drive train issues
    - color sand and buff the entire truck
    - get the gl*** installed in the doors.

If I have time, I may try to get the Olds dash in and graft the Impala lower rear quarters. At this point it looks like I'll have to wait until I get back from Austin.

The dash is going to be a pretty big project and I want to get it just right.

Finally got the fenders and hood done today. The fenders were a beast to get straight because they are the product of piecing together about 5 or 6 different donors.

I still need to work on all my panel alignments and gaps....next comes the wet sanding and buffing, and getting the bumpers back on.
