    J&C Special at Conn Dragway...they had some great jr fuel shows there, Thanks for posting one of my pics Bucksnort, it's nice to know that someone likes them enough to save them!!

    Look at the difference in tire growth. This was common back then as spools were just being made. Many cars used the Olds or Mopar 8 3/4 rear ends with open diffs. The posi 8 3/4's worked for a while but wore the clutches out quickly. We used to go on buying trips and pick up 6 or more when we found them. It was even hard to get o'haul kits because they weren't always stocked at the dealers.

    Everything is proportionally just right with the jr fuelers. What's the tire size?

    I think they were 11.00 x 15 the same as we used on the top gas cars.
     
  9. Pat Foster told me there were times when he was driving a funny car in the 70's he'd be all strapped in and cozy and warm and would drift off to sleep in the staging lanes!

    Looks like this guy's doing the same thing but warmed up and relaxed by the sunshine.:)
