LN7 NUT, thanks for the help. I guess what I would have to do is figure out what I want to do. I'm looking at the fenderwells on them & having a hard time invisioning 16" wheels in them right now.
I have an 85 F350 dually that I could use for this that I allready have a lowering kit for.

COOL I want to play too! Found this in my new hometown whilst looking for the local tag office. I'm hoping it's still there when I finally can take on a new project.

    My pleasure!

They are pretty wide wheel wells, but a fairly common wheel size now is the 19.5, with some larger tires on them you could fill the space, and it might be possible to close it in a little bit without it looking bad.

I keep coming up with really good C-Series Fords like that and the thought of building one into a rod has come to me many times now... I had even thought about narrowing one and using the door tops and windshield from a 57-60 Ford truck... who knows, it might be cool!

What do they usually run on the C-series? 22, 24?

I'll toss this in the ring.
A 1940 United Kenworth. Built on a Kenworth chassis by the United Airplane Manufacturing Company and first registered in 1941. Originally powered by a 850 cubic inch Hall-Scott motor and now a Big Block Chevy. It is owned by Doug & Lynn Hammer of Banning, CA and I took this photo at the Midnite at the Oasis run in Yuma on the 5th of March 2011.

22s and 24s milled down from 22.5 and 24.5 so you can run low profile tires on them. You can get direct bolt on specialty made 19s and 20 sometime from certian manufacturers.

It is on a 1996 Chevy 1500 four door frame. Gas engine. I recently got terminated from my 33 year job so I have had a lot of time to work on this. I am going to do the Hot Rod Power Tour with it. One last fling before I go broke!
