Ha...yeah. I think its due to what's been bouncing around in my head. How to use an A frame, but make it look as 32 as possible. I think that doing the frame reveal on the skirts, to make the look, would be rad. Someone's probably already done it.

Anyway...here's a quick and dirty Photoslop of the top on there...I think that it would look better if you chop the windshield to get it look like this...you can see how much because I didn't erase the last photoshop job on the stanchions. Also changed the size of the tires to help push the correct look you're going for.

    It continues....

And because I'm a selfish prick....here's how I'd love to run mine with the open hood sides....

I'm not sure about the yellow rims....unless you're running with a black body, the yellow is likely to clash with the red primer. Just my opinion....but I can try it if you like.

haha ..nah its cool looks good ..nah i like the black wheels its my 1st choice i just was wondering what color to run but i like the black ..the way you did it is exactly how it will look minus the open hood just cause the motor is not so traditional ..and it will have some old style dirt track writeing on the hood side a louverd hood and some numbers on it ...other than that its pretty much finished ..just working out kinks now steering is super sloppy it needs to be tightend up alot and the carb is beeing corky...everything else is cake from there ..only other thing would to try to make the rear tire a bigger one other than that its perfect

  16. I think your doing a good job so far on your own. But tj will be able to work those bugs out for you

Nice start, the 2.3L is probably not a bad idea with $4 gas on the horizon.

nice work, looking forward to seeing this through! lots of pretty cool projects happening at the moment. I'm starting on an A roadster with an I6 in it.

    Cheers

  28. Sports coupes are so bad ass! There like a good "tranny", you get the best of both worlds.
