i remember this one well... one of my favorites growing up!!

 

Here is some half finished endless lines. The base is 5 different pearls that won't show until cleared and in the sun. It will be surrounded by pearl blue fade and stark white.........updates to follow

There was a color shot of the '55 sedan delivery in Car Craft. I will try to dig it up and post it tomorrow. Very cool car, tunnel-ram small-block with fenderwell headers.

how are yall getting that black candy fade. I want to do black candy lace over green flake and can't find any black candy what am i missing here??

 

the black..or darker colors goes on under then the candy goes overtop...
you would start with the flake first...(actually you often start with black under most flakes)
then lay the flake...so say gold flake or pearl whiteflake or silver flake...ect
then lay down your frisket...and lay down/dust the black...remove the frisket then shoot the green candy over it....adding layers to create the shade...

Can anyone tell me how this one was done? Was the lighter blue sprayed first, and then the darker blue sprayed over vinyl die-cut flowers? I like it a lot, and I want to do something like it.
