Got my new gas cap in from KK500 here on the HAMB and got it installed on my sedan.
The cap is top notch quality and would recommend it to anyone thinking about getting one.
The car will eventually end up satin black like the wheels so the cap should really stand out.
Made out of some cast aluminum with polished stainless arms.

Cap looks great...don't care for the placement though should have been on one side or another not centered M.H.O.P.

I also like the gas cap but I don't think that any one thing on a car should be the focal point. I just installed one similiar from Crafty-B here on the HAMB. I didn't want it to stand out so I got the smallest one that he made and recessed it just the width of the flange.

Not knocking it just trying to be constructive....

Doesn't that put the tank inside the car with you?

I knew the placement wouldn't be to everyones liking but it is to mine.
Trying to figure out the gas tank install took me awhile and although I tried to find a way to get it outside the car I couldn't come up with anything that I liked.
Running no fenders and didn't want it out the back so it ended up inside.
I built a fully enclosed box that would probably hold water for the tank to sit in and the only thing that will show on the inside is a short piece of fuel hose. I will have a nice flat surface behind the seats.
I had Boyds welding build my tank which should show up any day and it came out to around 15.5 gallons.
I put it in the center so everything would be symetrical on the back panel, and kept it as low as I could.
I didn't want it high on one side panel or the other, but I do like what Kirk did with his.
The tail lights are round and mount with several machine screws in a radius just like the cap.

Here's mine! I made a 1/4 recess for mine to sit in. Sorry I don't have a closer picture.

    I like the recess Finkstr.
The car is going to be a satin or suede black so I am thinking about possibly powdercoating the flange black to help it not stick out so much if that seems to be the case.
Thanks for posting the pics at least I am not the only one that thought it would look okay in the center below the window.
What kind of tail lights are you going to run?

    Thanks for the comments Jason.

I have set of '37 Ford tail lights and plan on mounting them with custom stands on top of the shortened frame rails.

Good Luck on you project Jason.
