First car

    This has probably been a thread before but I looked through a bunch of pages and didn't see it. Just curious what peoples first car/truck was, if they still have it etc etc.

    Mine was a 1949 Plymouth Special Deluxe Club Coupe.
    When I got it:

    Mine was a '73 Datsun 710, 5 speed. I actually liked my car - at least back then. Course I had it all dressed up with mags, sun roof, nice stereo, fur on the headliner, yes fur...LMAO
     
  4. 1953 Plymouth 3 on the tree.Thanks to that car I became well versed on how to replace a clutch.

    77 Plymouth Volare'.
    Paid 250 bucks for it with less that 30k on the clock back 10 years ago. Car had every receiept from every maintenance trip it's whole life...and a carbon build up so bad it would blow chunks at highways speeds.

  9. This is my first car, 3rd generation Hot Rodder. I still remember when I discovered that not all familys had Hot Rod's!!

    Wierd isn't it? You always assume that they do! Most of my friends growing up had boring garages at their house.

    ....Mine was a 1955 Chevy Conv.....Boy..Did I have fun with that car...It was fast and always had plenty of fast women in it too......
     
  12. Funny, when the neighbor asked about the de soto in my driveway I was thinking the same - I forget that there are those without old iron about - poor them
