Do you remember when Doug Thompson (custom car builder) when used to punch louvers at car shows in the 80`s.

  8. I'd like to see more of the 7th car down...with the Z'd frame and the halibrands...looks like a slick rig.

  9. I was thinking about using a louvered panel in my model A grill shell. Anybody know the car? Curious how good it stays cool...ie..is there a shroud...eletric fan?

I could just try it on my car and see if still get enough airflow...but I don't have a louver press and would have to pay somebody to test it out.

    Any opinions?

    Thanks,
    Steve

Back on page one of this thread, I posted a picture of a '33 grill I just did for a client of mine. It hasn't been fifnished yet, so I can't any concreat results as for it's cooling, but I have to admit that I told the customer that I didn't thimk it would be enough airflow to cool... As soon as I hear back I'll post the results.

  14. Thanks man, another Hamber pm'd me saying that he had done something similar...impossible to keep the car cool....but it makes it car look pretty cool at rod runs and the such!

I'd be fine with that too. Love the look, just a dress up piece for showing.
