That’s Great, to see someone that truly excited for their baby! I love it when people are genuine and sincere about there prizes, as opposed to being to kool for skool and being like “Ah its OK, this piece could be better"

Hey Tom!!! I fucking love it!!!! It's so comfortable and so quiet!!! You did the most amazing job!!!:)

I didnt get stopped by a cop, we were at a light and they were next to me and following me for a few blocks, i guess they wanted to see the car at every angle!!! I've never had real problems with cops here, they're pretty cool IMO! But it all depends of the situation of course!!

Mooneyes is tomorrow and the weather is gonna be shitty i think!!! Real bummer!!! We'll see in the morning though!!!:(

    Your the BEST Tom!!!:)

Two years ago My Merc went through some major changes and we were going to début
it at a show. The night before we were still working on it and when it was time to go
it wouldn't start. We had everyone (twenty guys) working on it for hours and couldn't
get it started. The next day we started working on it again an finally go it to move an
hour after the show. It sucked, also the day of the show it rained all day.

    I was screwed either way.

I'm hurt'n for ya, I know what your going through.

    Happy Trails,

    Mick

It seem like I am always trying to do something the night before a show whether it an intake gasket that I needed to cut out of cereal boxes or wheel cylinder goes the night before I leave. It's always something but I push through and if it makes it, it makes it. If doesn't???? Well then fuck there is alway another show around the corner.

As far as rain goes, I wouldn't be to worried. Just grab some detailing spray and microfiber towels, and some tire cleaner and take it with you. The wet ground is only going to accentuate how rad that car looks. They do it all the time in commercials. You never see a car on dry ground. Good luck and have fun!

    OH WELL!!!:(

Bummer, but there is the GNRS around the corner!!

JJ, It's not the paint or tires im worried about, it's my upholstery, i have no door glass and the interior will get soaked and the carpet!!! It's too fucking beautiful to ignore that!!

Ahhh, yeah that's definitely something to worry about. I certainly would be iffy on driving it in the rain. The upside is that it normally wipes off vinyl pretty easy. However, I am not going to be the dude that tells you "oh fuck it man, I'd drive it" because it would take me 6 months to year before I am comfortable driving a car that nice even in sunny weather.

Thank you thank you thank you!!! I am still gonna go but in the Galaxie, and it doesnt have wipers!!! It's not the rain vs. paint..... It's rain vs new upholstery!!

I'll measure the bullet in a bit, not
Modified, bought it as is from the long hair rocker dude at Pomona swap meet! Half the price of mooneyes! Fits perfect on a 40 ford wheel!

    Yes I'm
Driving the chevy to Austin! Leaving on the 28th! Very stoked! Staying in Austin from
    Wednsday to Monday!
