Man I am so damn stoked about this thing getting color man. I know your '34 and my '32 have similar vibes only yours isn't a complete piece of shit haha!!! Looking good!!!
Thanks!! I tried to match the color as close to a 59 Cadillac "Georgian Blue Metallic" as possible...kind of a medium metallic blue..Off white firewall..satin black frame
Brandon and Reymundo at Altissimo are really good guys, very talented and do great work. I was very pleased with the body work and excellent paint job they did on my 36 Ford Coupe. I believe your car is in good hands.
X2,They really are getin er done. Was great to meet those guys the other day when we went down. Cant wait to see it it in the first coat of primer. The door gaps are just perfect now. They do some really good work in short time.
Hey Marcus, I just went through the entire build thread of your '34 and I took notes on what I don't like and what you should change. I have listed them in order below; 1. NOTHING !!! If this ride was any CLer , you would have to have a permit !!! A 304" 4 pot flattie ???!!!??? Yowza !!!! And I love the idea that you have a solid vision of how you want it ... it sounds like it will be incredibly (or rockabilly) sweet ride !!!!
Yeah..I think its gonna work out that way..We are starting pre production on the new CD coming up here in the next couple months..I havent mentioned it to the other two RevTones yet..But I think it will end up on the cover..hehehe
We want paint we want paint!!! Looking good Edell, I am really stoked to see some color on there....can you tell?
LOL.. You and me both, getting really excited about it.Its already better than I ever imagined it could be.The body was pretty rough. They had to reprime it in some spots because the old primer was lifting and they didnt want to take any chances on that happening when its painted.Tons of hours in prep so far.
Fired up my computer tonight just to check this thread. Looking really good man. Thanks for the updates.
