  3. Yes, true! I know of two other 34 roadster sitting in a barn a guy won't come off of. I bought a unchopped 32 three window from him years back.

I also know of another guy with a few, just sitting. They are out there, you must be persistant.

Geesh I am hanging in the wrong circles. All I want to find is a S.Co.T blower, Halibrand non quickie center section or a Weiand High Rise intake for a flathead. You guys are on another level.:D

There is one local guy that has over 50 cars from the early 40's back to the early 30's and they are ****tered on farms all over the county. A few here and a few there. I don't know if any can be bought or not but I'm guessing not since most of us know about them. There are three 36 Fords (including a cabriolet) sitting in a lean two a few miles from my house that have been there for at least ten years. There is a 34 Ford 5 window about two miles from my house that's been sitting outside for at least 50 years that I've been after for over a year now. There are still a TON of old cars out there waiting to be found.

Still, awesome find for you brother.

Just went back and read up...

The place is looking GOOD man.

    Now "stay out of Riverdale"...

  11. I think you're looking for stuff that is just about as rare as a Model 40 Roadster . . . just not quite as much mullah!

But then again - maybe you need to find a 33/34 roadster with a SCoT blown Ardun . . . might as well set the bar a bit higher  These dreams are what keep most of us constantly looking and awake at night. I know I've been lusting after some of these things for over 35 years!

    Mel,

You should do the car in traditional East coast flavor. IFS, dodge Daytona high back bucket seats, '88 blazer dash and gauges, 14 x 12 cragar ss rims, 65 mustang taillights and anything else I may have missed.

Seriously though, I cant wait to see what this car evolves into, Im sure its gonna be kick ***.

    P.s.

Roy's picking up my '41 Merc coupe on his way back from Cali.

  14. The build plan sounds perfect. From what I've seen from afar, you've got some of the neatest cars around. This one will be no exception. I'm stoked for you!

Guy up the street from me has left a really nice 32 fordor out all thru this winter, one door open with a cord hanging out, I guess for a charger. This has been one of the worst winters in memory, and it's snowing out now, and there it sits. Wanna slap him. Sorry to go OT, but hadda tell someone...looks like your stuff is in good hands though...:)

  18. It is so funny you guys should mention this! You should see what landed on my desk this morning. Pure engine ****!!! Wish I could share... If you have a lot of money, contact me and I'll share. Hahahaaaa... I'm serious, I just can't put the pics online. Owners orders.

  19. Good to see you bro!

  20. Hahahaaa, Pete! So true, so scary!

Hey, that mad man Roy is picking up a 29 pick up bed for my Dads RPU I'm going to build him this summer. Maybe we could get Roy to put my bed in your trunk, kinda ***y...

  21. Thatnks for the congrats people, I'm still sneaking out there when I can and staring in amazement. It looks cool from the loft, but the lighting is dark and can't snap a good shot of it.

When Mom gets back from the gym, I'm going to sneak out and mock up the stansions, windshield, top, hood and grill. Then I gotta stop dreaming and do some real work today. I'll post some pics later.

  22. Couple pics from this morning.
I thought I was going to wait awhile as I have a few irons in the fire, but I'm going to start to chip away at it. Frame 1st. Repair a few small holes in body as well. Can't help myself.

    DAMN! that is kick ***.....

  29. Ahhh, that looks good Eric. Glad it worked out for you...

Seems I have a local guy interested in the extra rolling 34 frame. That would be great if it goes somewhere cool... like a 34 woody.

I have the three window doors sold as well, another good guy getting those.

  30. Today I went to Cowtown. Wasn't really planning on it, but a friend asked if I'd help keep my eyes peeled for him and his project. All we got were steak sandwichs.
We were in the middle of the last isle when I said lets get the F out of here. He then said, hey... lookie there. I couple of 34 grill shells, and what else.... but a solid 33. Kaching!

    Sweet day!
