Event Coverage **2011 Model A Pancake Breakfast Who's Going?**

I'm going too.

Doesn't have to rain in Orange to kill the event...it is held in riverbed. Could be raining much further inland and it could flood out where the cars park. One year when my son was about 7, he's 23 now, we were there just after a rain and he caught a 2 foot carp trapped in the rocks just beyond the bridge. He came running back with this big fish in his arms. He caught it with his hands. lol

Daddyo is right, one of the best events around. I need to win the 19" tires in the raffle.

 

As`of this morning it says ...partly cloudy for Sunday........

Im betting on a clear but cold day! Looks like ill be there with the Grandson in tow....

"I belong to the OC Model A Club, and we had our monthly breakfast this morning. Richard was there, along with several other members and I asked about the future of using Hart Park. I was told that it is uncertain....the city will not commit to anything other than year to year. But I was also told that we are getting the clear message that the city is for some reason not real fond of the event. Not sure why, as they get paid for us to use it, and we leave the place cleaner than we found it.
So the answer is we don't really know, but by appearances our stay may be limited. I am sure they are contemplating options as to where to move if and when that happens."

whats the matter with Orange lately........wanting to re-model the downtown?? and this over the pancake breakfast?? Orange is the last of the "old Orange County" hope they leave it that way.

anyone know how early cars can drive in ?

 

At first I didn't think I could make it because of work. But now we are not shooting on sunday so I should make it . This year I am going to take surface streets instead of the freeway. Map quest states 2 hours. 55 miles on surface streets . Look for the skirted A . I want to be greedy and win the brake drums and the Mitchell overdrive and tires and and and and. LOL

 

Weather tomorrow. Mostly cloudy but no rain predicted{yet}
