Well the original S&M AWB was cut up in the 60's so it wasn't that one and Fred never owned my old car (the restored converted SS car).I spoke to him about the car years ago when we did the worlds fastest 65 Ply deal at Monster Mopar.I don't recall where he said he got the car. There were quite a few around. It was very cool but quite a handful.

  2. Here's one I wish was a real find . . .

We all would like to know the answer to that one.Strange deal the 66 cars, only one still out there as far as I have been able to tell.I found a really oddball one about 15 yrs ago in the Detroit area but it disappeared.A local car nothing like the 10 or so "factory" cars. There likely is a few more out there somewhere.

  5. Photoshopped it as it's one I'd love to build - this was an as-found pic of an old four door and I think it looks cool, as if a real AWB was unearthed after a long nap.

the ex- landy dart picture was indeed his last altered wheel base car. it was sold to omaha mopar racer gene kidder(pictured), gene moved to fl. took the car with him and had a very bad crash in it, totaling it. gene now resides with his lovely wife susan in ky. and still works tech at beech bend. he has also been inducted into the nebr. raceing hall of fame.
