They made up a hose in about 5 minutes! It is on the van, test driven, and ready to hit the road. One more stop to bring the napa guy a shirt and we are headed to Wellington,

Great thread! Those roadside breakdowns usually lead to great sories and definately add some flavor to the trip! Glad you're back on the road.

The frustrations are short lived and soon we are focused on the adventure again. life is good!

 

Me and a buddy planned a similar trip. Leave for the Roundup 5-6 days in advance and stop at all the cool stops. It rained that year so we didn't go. Thanks for all the pics/stories. Looks like you're having amazing weather in all the pictures.

 

I look forward to reading the adventures every morning on here! I'd love to do this one day! It looks like a great time, maybe even funner then the shows themselves!

Glad to see NAPA came to the rescue. I am reading this in the NAPA store I work at kinda makes me feel a little better about being stuck working while your out living life large!

I am going to this one next year. Between Lone Star Round up and the Hot Rod Revolution Texas is kicking some serious *** for traditional car shows. Great job to the folks who put those on!

Very cool road trip...just did the March Meet and we did a lot of the same sight seeing. Once in a lifetime amount of coolness. Thanks for sharing the pics !

welcome to texas! if you go through el paso be sure not to get in the lane that says Juarez...then you're screwed. other than that, it's a great city.
