Sounds like my APBT Freya. She doesn't like the floor though. She'll hop into whatever car I happen to be working on and stretch out in the back seat until I'm done.

This is her in her first snow. She DID NOT like it...

Ok, so I've got two dogs. My well manered, sweet tempered, absolutely beloved Cockapoo named Heihei Chan, who loves riding in our quiet Maverick, and my walking bundle of crazy incarnate, my Schnauzer Rocky Chan (I mean, has YOUR dog ever been 86ed from a petsmart location for life?!?!). Rocky's favorite mode of transpo is my avatar Plymouth...Loud, fast, five speed, you know, slightly crazy - right?! He has to ride with his nose out the vent wing across my lap at all times which is oh so convienant for shifting and such... Hence no pictures in the hot rods. But here are some picts from Janurary when we had snow come within about 80 miles of Phoenix in our late model. Neither was too impressed with the wet cold stuff. Both came with the girlfriend a couple of years ago, but rest assuered they love me lot's more than their mom these days!

Well here is my latest with some of the rest of my pack. Anybody that knows me knows I have a bit of a fetish for canines ! To the right is my newest a German Shepard ,Rex, and left to right Milo the Beagle, Taffy the Coyote/Shepard and my 13+ Dal Roxie. The other 4 are elsewhere. LOL! Rex is only about 9 months old ,so now I have 4 hounds under the age of 2 in the house. Can you say wild play time!!

Damn. I lost my best friend yesterday, my German Shepherd, Hana. She was a beautiful dog with a beautiful spirit, the most loyal friend one could ever imagine, and wise beyond her species. I'm grateful that I had her in my life and don't know what I did to deserve the love and devotion I received from this marvelous creature. At the moment I'm feeling devastated.

Here's a pic of her sleeping on Papa's (that's me) spot in the bed.

The misery of keeping a dog is his dying so soon. But, to be sure, if he lived for fifty years and then died, what would become of me?

Saxman, my condolences... There is never anything that can be said to replace them when they are gone.

Canine fetish?!?! Are you kidding?! We have been worried about you for years!
Coming to Johns house is about as much commotion as you can begin to imagine... Bringing Rex home - off the charts! 'Course, he had to bring him by my house first and get Rocky the insane schnauzer all riled up!!!

My friend is Sioux Z (Suzy) She goes to a lot of local shows and cruises with my and even a few overnight ones (hot rods and hillbillys) She loves to ride and loves to be around crowds. She is now 12 years old and sometimes needs a little help getting in my truck but cans still hop right into the 55 Olds. Most folks are a little afraid of her at first because of her breeding, half rottweiler and half pit. She will only attack you if you have bacon in your pocket!

This is "Dozer", full name Bulldozer, he pulls like a tractor.
I was his fourth owner when he was six months old.
He was brought to me to "Find him a good permanent home", three years ago.
The pics are right after I got him, before I had finished putting up the new fence.
He usually goes with me where he can.
Have to walk him late in the evening as other peoples dogs have been known to jump out of cars in an effort to attack him!

Friendliest dog in the world, despite his abusive drunkard second owner.

  27. Great thread!

here's my two little buddies, Archie and Henry.

Archie is 7 and half Corgi half Jack Russell. Henry is just over a year old and is a 3rd Jack/Collie/Rottweiler combo!

Nope, just the biggest Dal you will ever see about 95lbs. She is about the size of a Lab,a good 3 " taller than my other Dal.
