I wonder which engine that is? My 57 Chev crane has a Buick Nailhead.

Most of the GMCs in the states had Pontiac motors but the larger trucks like a semi had Olds motors.

Same here in Canada, but I have been finding a lot of them with Buick engines too. But I have never heard of it.

I thought I read that the big Chevy trucks down here got the Buick motors but never seen one.

Same here, but I have seen 2, one is in this field in the middle of nowhere Saskatchewan, and the other is in my back yard... I have been trying to get the one in Sask since 07... maybe one day I will.

I love the rare and unusual, and you are right,m rare almost never equals valuable, but I could hardly care about value, if my car was valued at $1 I would still love it and drive it and keep it nice!

A fun comparison to me is that my 46 Ford Glass-top bus is a lot rarer then a Duesenburg J (1 of 44 built, 1 of 9 in 46) but I bet it's value is very low... and I really don't care to know either. :D

Sure do, European cars were sold here for the most part, Renault, Fiat, Austin, Vanguard, Vauxhaul etc.
We even got some German stuff too, I have a pair of 1959 German Ford Taunus 12 M Super's at home!

Nice little 37, technically a one-owner since it was supposedly parked in its current position by the original purchaser before he passed. Family won't part with it... yet
