What really happpened?



10/25/1960 - "This is the model of the Golden Gate Bridge, blown up in the new film being produced in Japan about a hypothetical World War III. Workmen stand in the 'Golden Gate' as they apply finishing touches. Shoreline is faithfully reproduced, including Fort Point (left foreground).".

 

Kinda racy and suggestive for back in the day.

I thought that one would get some attention!

 

I enjoyed the "then and now" series.

 

What more can I say.....

 

We still had the trolleys around here till about 1940. Some of the tracks were still there even till the late 50's. I barely remember riding on one. I was really young at the time. Picture of the cars and the tracks is at the corner of Lincolnway and Main Street in downtown Mishawaka for those of you that keep track.
