Love the BiG T up top... I got a bunch of those to sell on ebay.. Most of the sealed boxes are still in their shipping containers..
Here are a few of mine...some old, some older, and a few not too old...I am thinking of making the Econoline into a G***er...
I have a ton of them in my personal collection and a bunch at my antique business which I will probably be offering you guys. Gotta raise some money since we are single income right now.
Aurora had the very best box art but their models were let's say to be kind, not the most accurate. Second pic is a box of 12 vintage Guillows rubber band powered planes I picked up from my local novelty store that was located near my grade school. Bought a lot of candy there at recess back in the early 70's. The 93 year old woman owner died a few years ago and her kids sold all the old inventory in her ba*****t. I waited to long and this is about all that was left. Another guy got 15-20 old models and a bunch of plastic toys form the 50's and 60's all new. I flew these planes all the time when I was little..and bought them from this store. I emailed Guillows a photo of the box and they said late 60's period.
I have more than I need. Just ask my wife.... A couple Hubleys I found in an old shed about 16 years ago. The wheel was broken off the green Woody and it still has the dirt and crud from many years of storage. And then there are all the Hot Wheels and other stuff. Always seem to be buying more.
Here are some of my toys. Most of them were mine when I was a kid. Thank God, Mom didn't throw them out!
Don't you know that somewhere the tooling for those "NYLINT" toys is sitting waiting to be reactivated?
This pic shows a junkyard scene on my HO scale(1:87) layout which is still a work in progress. Junkyard scene is exclusively duece parts. Second and third pics show the Wilbur Shaw Gas Station and various cars in the background.
aremember when you could get stuff like this from cereal boxes? Man, I ate alot of cereal back then! Mick
