Sorry to dig up an old thread, but it could be worth a shot to see if anyone has anymore to add.

Brownsmetal, you have such a nice Kustom and the fact that it has a blower motor hiding under the hood makes it that much more BAD***!

Thanks Rat Bastad, 3 1/4 vertical at the windshield. I slowley dropping the back until it looked right. I found that part to be very critical to how the top looked. 1/4 inch either way seemed to make a totally different profile. I spent the good part of a day eyeballing the top at different heights and slopes. I think I started the chop at the winshield at 2 1/2 inchs and kept t*******. I was thinking I would end up around 4 inchs before I was happy, i was wrong.

  8. I think the grilles on 46-8 Chevys are hard to improve upon.

They just look right. (Same goes for Plymouths of those years.)

I think there are some decent Chevy kustoms in those years.

I agree the grilles are sweet but the chevy bumpers i always thought looked upside down.
so i spent some time and flipped mine and moved them closer to the body and even sectioned my rear.

I just sent my car off to the interior shop. This is a short video of the final run & start to burn off old/new fuel and get it hot. We had a few adjustments to make with the neutral safety & the Lokar shift rod conversion. I did some mild custom changes to it.
