    HELLO EVERY ONE I HOPE SOME ONE CAN HELP ME. I NEED THE PROPER IDLER ARM PITMAN ARM LOCATION, AFTER A FRONT END SWAP I HAVE A 1964 C20 AND I PUT ON A 1981 C10 FRONT END. I NEED HELP ON PUTTING THE STEERING RIGHT. SORRY IF IM HIJACKING THE THREAD BUT PLEASE HELP :confused:

    Your pitman arm should fit in the new linkage. Steer straight foward and measure how far the linkage is from the cross member and the bottom of the frame. Make the other side match the distance from the cross member and distance from the bottom of the frame. Then drill the holes for your 81 idler and bolt it up. Thats the way mine went together. Mines a 65C20 with 83 C10 goodies up front.

    Bird looks like I'm well on my way. Maiden voyage tonight maybe a 8 mile round trip. Just a dead battery when I came back out. Now just to make it look better!:D
