Shifter and drive shaft in brake lines ran still need another fitting. The engine is almost ready to fire need about 1/2 a day to button that up. I need to put the front clip and bumper back on hook up the wiring & hoses. Then hook up trans lines mount gas pedal and cable. Order the carpet then mount the seats then take the car to the alignment shop. The bad part is this is the short list...but Im have fun.

Yeah I just ordered my brake kits for all 4 wheels.

The problem I have now is after my new suspension drop, my car is only 2.5" off the ground. Now I am trying to figure out how I can raise it without having to order custom spring to bring it back up. It took 3 weeks to get the first ones...

Still hoping I can drive it, maybe not show it though.

yeah pay no mind to the late model that I get out of in the parking lot, that is a figment of your imagination... just too far for me to drive the big block. But I'll be there, camera in hand!

Got my new temporary motor to fire tonight!!!! Now dial it in-run a gas line from tank-install gas pedal-swap tires that should be here this week from Hurst-run temporary electrical wiring harness-shore up the chop-and then test drive the HELL out of it!
Will he make it? Will he make it?
By the way thanks to bugz for helping me install my motor Friday night-and the beer!!

As long as the motor or trans doesnt go south for any reason I can see light at the end of the tunnel. No the car wont be totaly done but will be safe and drivable (still hopping)... Is it to soon to say "Torque Fest here I come"? Boy I hope Im not shooting myself in the foot!

I dont know how guys with $100,000 & plus car can work till the last night before the show. So they can have a car ready it would make me a complete sick wreck! Im 2 weeks away and getting greyer by the minute and my car is no were near the big dollar mark.

Yeah I was looking at them at oreilly's. I am doing my brakes this weekend so I will try a set on the front and see how they work. Rockford roads are pretty tore up still and any little bit will help.:D

Anybody driving out from rockford as a group on Saturday? Wouldn't mind meeting some local guys.

Well I hope you will be feeling better soon. My car is needing the front brake shoes relined. The buick place is out of new shoes and I wont be getting the relinned shoes and the rest of the brakes until after the show, so its my DD to the rescue.

At least I will be there!

Not sure if I will make it. Just went to put the seat back in the truck, and it basically sets on top of the shifter. Going to have to make a bracket to move the shifter forward, and make a shifter handle. Will see how Sunday goes.

Will do if we leave at a decent time, the wife is a kindergarten teacher. So we will be waiting for her to get home from work. So we might not get on the road till 4:30-5:00, and its a 3 1/2 hr drive.
