That is a really nice looking car. Nice job. Looks like all it needs now is to be driven.

i'm excited for the skirts too. only problem i have encountered so far with seeing the vision through is that the sombrero caps won't go on with the wheel weights on the outside of the rim. sorta bummed.

have your tire place balance with the stick on style weights like used on aluminum wheels... might work

  6. I may have missed it, so forgive me. Have the Sombreros already been modified to fit a non-Caddy wheel?

yes they have, with trim rings that have tines that are compatible with a ford wheel.

thanks andy. i think the skirts are a win. paint should be here tomorrow. should be painted this weekend.

loving the transformation. thinking that gravel guards come off next, and maybe the 'customline' and the yv8 up front. anyway. we'll see how it goes.

and for those that were wondering about the ride, i drove it last night, and it rides pretty great. i think the rear combination drop is what did it. half in springs, and half in blocks. and of course, i've been riding on the dropped spindles up front for years, so that's fine.

I love it Mark. The skirts and stance are awesome. Shave the gravel guards, antenna and mold in those trim rings and this thing will be done!

thanks jj. yeah i think i am liking it more. sometimes i look at it and wish it was about an inch lower all around. but, it is so driveable as it sits. really, it's a good blend of style and practicality. that's an admirable trait for a car i think. looking forward to the paint showing up...

and yes, just a few subtle mods and it'll be done. then it's time for an interior...
