Anybody spending Easter hot rodding?

Stuck at home with the relatives, or something better?
A bunch of us are taking our rides to Tucson's VA hospital for a private show for the patients there who served and deserve a fun afternoon.

Annual Easter Car Show in St. Louis, MO at Forest Park...

 

Happy Easter to all. All the kids are out of town so me and the Wife will do a local cruise together in the country and check out a few old towns a few miles away and just lay back!

 

I'm building a 8 x 8 shed today. I need to get all my gardening tools and stuff outta the garage.

Well we worked all night and into this morning 2:45am pulling the motor out of the hotrod. We will hit it again later after everyone has there dinners!! Happy Easter and God Bless to you all!!

 

I am sitting here thinking of something to do or somewhere to go in my hotrod.

I went and scored an original Deuce grille for a friend of mine in Eureka, it wasn't on Craig's list when I signed off this morning, looking for a bench seat like Gasser 300 has in his T, the shell and insert showed up about 10 minutes later after I had walked away from the computer, next thing you know Crusty Nut, aka Matt, PM'ed me, and asked me to go get it for him, there is another thread on the HAMB about it, look for "Crusty Nut's score"
The shop where the '26 is getting painted is locked down for Easter, so I guess I'll just sand and paint my headers with the barbecue black paint I got yesterday... that's kinda hot rodding, isn't it?
It's raining here, and I probably wouldn't feel like driving a fenderless car today unless I needed to anyway.

 

Stuck at Mom's where anything car-related is forbidden... Yeah it sucks when you've got a brother-in-law who's into hot rodding and you're sitting across the dinner table listening to 4 crazy women banter on about who knows what...

Working home health right now. When I get home I am going to change the oil and maybe fuel pump on my 68 caddy.

Wish I was driving the roadster, stuck doing the family thing today.

 

Been cruising since I got up this morning. No destination, just cruising. Just got back into the shop with a few provisions I picked up. As I was closing the shop door, it started raining pretty steady. But I burned up the bunny trail till then.................

 

My oldest daughter and her family are here for Easter. My 6yr old gearhead grand daughter is helping Grampa dust off the Willys and we're goin cruisen...NO WAY Mom and Dad...you can't come !!
