Ok alittle Gas House Gang update. Mark is returning to Texas with "Skull Orchard", this is one sick Bitch and the truck is bad ass too! He's pissed off and has big plans on tearing up the comp class. Will he pull it off this time or get his ass handed to him again? Gosh he only "Lost" by .0126 at the Thaw! Try cheating, works for me, hee hee hee! The field of car running in the 5"s is building, can I move my slow ass to Street Class?

 

You can't run from me Bill and my duffle bag only holds 8 heads.

Doc; I missed out last year on the trash and the race so I'm just trying to catch up. I've got the same old slow ass reaction time I always had and the same ole truck you have seen so many times. Forgive the kid in the candy store, he's on like a sugar high. This will be a vey good event and all that attend will be rewarded personally.

Don't let him fool you Doc - I saw what Rick did to that 1/8 mile in Navasota (even though it was in both lanes at once). The Hillrat v. Skullorchard match up should be the race of the weekend at Yello Belly.

Good weekend too. The kids are still bouncing off the walls from all the candy.

Time trials begin @10am

Drivers meeting 12:00

First round racing @ 12:30PM

should be wrapped up around 5pm like last year with all awards, the track will stay open as long as we want to make passes after awards are done

 

Two more weeks before showtime!!!!!!!!!

Fired the truck up yesterday after a few little engine mods ( no need to ask I aint tellin ), I'm ready!

 

About time you changed the spark plugs Bill.

Cant wait to heat it blaze down the strip again this year Bill, were in MAY and the time has come, one last week to test and tune!!!!!!!!

 

Hotrodbill hope those mods are a hook on the rear so i can get the anchor hooked up easy got to slow you down some. headed to dyno on 5/3/11 hope it hangs together.

 

Wish we would have changed the compresion a little bit before we put that 1471 on there HRB, hope it makes at least one pass before it scatters.
Good to see people are still alive. this site has been a dessert for a few days. I guess from the sound of it, Skully has been feedin the ponies,Dirty John has been makin donuts for breakfast,Hot rod Bill has been sharpenin his knives, Doc,well and then there is Doc. No telling what that man is up to.BBC? HUmmm.I have a bird on my cowl , named him today,guess what? THe flying Scott is still quiet, whats up with that? And if you haven't seen the Fosters truck run, you are in for a treat.

Rusty, thanks for hosting this gig,didn't race last year but had a blast just bein. Looking forward to this deal for sure.

 

Dyno? Where the hell you think your racin? We are talkin about yello belly my brother. I guess if you got it , spend it.I've burned thru a couple of grand this last wk, no money for a dyno so I guess we'll just fly by the seat of my pants like always. The little biscuit beater is none too happy with daddy right now so sleeping tonight will be oooo-ooh, so nice, on my side of the bed.(or couch) Good luck with it.

Hey Rusty, I did a good job rattling their cages huh? Dyno? This race is bigger than I thought! My guess is 550-575 but you know he's gonna lie, low to sneek up on us or high to freak us out.
