That Olds dash is beautiful. Definitely going to make an already-killer truck more killer!

I left off with the idea of blanking the ash trays and glove box:

great lookin 58, and really like your creativity of using 58 car bumpers front n back. I'm workin on a 59 s/b big window fleetside that I need to post pics of when I got it and what I have done to it so far. Man I sure would like to get a hold of some spear moldings for my fleetside.

Looks great, very nice work! It maybe time for a 58/59 fleetside group seems theres afew of us. Mine is nowhere near this caliber but we could surely benefit for others experiences.
I have a couple of complete bedside moldings one long one short. Not sure if I would part with both but I guess it depends on how bad someone wanted them$$$ Not easy to find complete sets.

    Apreciate all the positive comments....

I'm planning on painting the dash a green heavy flake and am thinking about using the Roth Spray in the can.....

I don't know how well the stuff works but I'm about to find out....

  20. I am very interested to hear your experience with it as well, I have been toying with the idea of using it for a dashboard project also!

I'll post a few in the next few days...still have to do a little more trimming for the perfect fit....

Overall...I would say the Olds dash was 3" wider than the Chevy..but I was able to cut about 1.5" off both sides and still retain the original curves...
