Event Coverage 2011 VIVA LAS VEGAS - Pictures , Pictures, Pictures

VLV was massive this year with record attendances and record car numbers.

Thanks to the Lonely Knights and Road Devils for running the VLV car show part of it. John Parker, Holly, Johnnie Walker, Rich,Gerico, Nick.....just too many to mention.

Jerry Lee Lewis was great as expected.

In bed - recovering from a Flu/Cold but wanted to post pictures that i took before our digital camera battery died. Here they are.

Sorry, we don't have pics of the Furthest Driven but it went to "PorkChop" of the Road Devils car club. He and his buddy drove from Ohio to North Carolina - was hit in the Tornado which damaged the rear of the car, but still decided to continue their Devils Brigade tour and made it to Las Vegas. 3,200 Miles each way ! Well deserved. We must honor and support our troops who are in the middle east . This concludes my pictures . Thanks

The Lonely Knight crew included: Myself, Harry Truitt, Jeff Hansen, Big Rich Cordova, Jerry Hatto, and Jeff Berndsen. Not to mention our lovely ladies, who took pity on us occasionally, and brought cold drinks.

Many thanks to the Taildraggers, and Memory Lane club, who fed us like royalty. Every time those guys went by, they handed us another bag of tacos and burritos.

how come the "best custom" is a stock car with paint and wheels?

The Custom Corral was my favorite!!!! Seriously though I was very honored to be apart of that, especially in the same class as the other cars! Thanks for the invite Axle! I was very impressed with the final display.

I had a great time at the show. Didnt get to take a lot of pics this year. I took a few of the Custom Corral and will post those later.
