yes international made them: A steel company in my hometown had two of them, they delivered long piece of iron all over town. Driver had to sit inside while they loaded second side. Some times quite a while.. Un-usual union job, sit and wait....

There's no need to use a online photo storage
site like photobucket. You can simply download
the pics your computer and then upload them
from your desktop or elsewhere on your
computer, directly to the HAMB That way
you're not limited to the arbitrary 800x600 pixel
    - or whatever other - size restrictions imposed
    by some online storage sites.

My post went all weird looking...

Where is this place on the HAMB you are referring to? In my original post I was talking about uploading to the HAMB, but it does restrict you to 800x600.

If you put it in your own album on HAMB it's limited to 800X600 or thereabouts.

On the main board you can attach files right to the post, you access it by going to advanced editing, then click manage attachments. That creates the little thumbnails below the post. If you want to also post the photo in your text, you can copy the image location and past it in the body of the post as you have been doing, then you'll have the thumbnail and the large photo too.

I'm not sure what you're talking about. I've
posted lot's pic of varying sizes to threads on
this forum and many of them, much bigger
than 800X600. There's nothing restricting the
size to just 800X600 pixels but people have
to use common sense and courtesy though
and not post really humongous pics.

  13. Is that really a '22 chevy? Looks awful modern for the twenties or they were ahead of the times!

Thanks guys, I had looked at the attach image thing and saw where it says only 800x600 and never noticed that was only for png files... how big can a guy go with jpg before it stops working? I know I have a hell of a time getting it to take anything bigger the 800x600 for some reason.

Tighter compression helps, file size seems to be the constraint.

I agree that 'tighter compression' is better
...but be careful not to over do it....or
you'll need to start buying high-octane
    'premium-grade' pixels!!!!:eek::eek::D:D

I think I'll stick to resizing them, I don't have the cash for "Premium Pixels" :D

Photo bucket works for me because I use it all the time, you just need to sign into it every 3 months to keep it working, same with Hotmail.

I don't mean to get back on topic, but I did find some COE's for you guys today!

LN7 NUT, you have absolutely outdone yourself with those pics! That's the most unusual collection of COE's in one place that I've ever seen. Is that near you? I love the old school bus (prison bus for bad boys?) Very cool stuff!

    Thanks!

This is just south of me in Wetaskiwin Alberta.

I love old buses too, these ones are all military buses, but the cages make me think of prison buses too!

The truck is a Sicard. Sicards were built
in Quebec starting out in the 1930's, mostly
building 4 and 6-wheel-drive snow plow and
    snow-blower equipped vehicles for the
military and for municipal use. But but later,
in the 1950's and 60's, besides specialized
snow removal vehicles , they also branched
    out into building regular 'over-the-road'
trucks, dump trucks and highway tractors
too. By the way, the founder of the company,
Arthur Sicard (1876-1946) is held as the
inventor of the snow-blower. As far as I know,
Sicard designed and built their own cabs for
their 'cabover' offerings, but at least in the
later years, used Dodge cabs for their
    conventional-style trucks.

    Re that Canadian military bus
    (pic - www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=1306668&stc=1&d=1303966098)
    - those wartime buses were built with engines
    and drivetrains supplied by several
    different manufacturers. About about
    10 years ago we scrapped a circa-1944
model one that was identical to the one
in your pics. I remember the engine in
    it was a 501 cubic-inch International
    Harvester RD-501 inline 6. I'd love to
see one of those 'big boys' stuffed into
    a rod!

About some of the other 'cabovers'
in that collection - notably those
    WWII Canadian Military Pattern' trucks.
The CMP-style trucks were built for a
purpose and they did their job - but
style-wise, to each his own, I guess,
but in my opinion, they have to rank
as one of the most truly bizarre and
    just plain*****-ugly looking trucks
    ever produced! Cool...and very
    historically significant trucks to be
sure, but oh, so, so UGLY! :D
