  1. well its not 100% finished but i was able to take it down the road till my gas tank started to leak a bit,a few minor things and its done.

been workin on this for 2 years pretty hard to get it done, got it has a bare frame and a few body panels. built it myself, its not perfect but not bad for a young'in. had lots of advice from folks on here and it helped. thanks h.a.m.b

I like it a lot. I had a chopped, fenderless '30 Model A coupe 35 years ago, same color primer.

  12. Bad Bob- yeah i dont care much for them an inch of the ground and mail slot windows. honestly, this would have had a flathead in it as well if i could have afforded it. but i didnt have the funds so i made what i have look as old as i could.

3 inch chop,6 inch rear kickup, i tried making it as traditional as i could with my buget. im happy with its stance. it sure wasnt what i was expecting when i took it around the block!

  13. thanks man, yeah im tired of seeing flat black and skulls for paint jobs.

i blended in the visor, and the roof to take out that gap that the early A's have. almost gives it a '30-31 feel

  14. Congratulations on being able to run it around!!!

Enjoy the hell out of it!

...by the way...most are NEVER done!

  22. Well at least you didn't paint it blue. I hate blue cars.

Great looking car and getting them running is cool...... Be careful with the tank.......... don't just rig something up make sure its safe and fastened down well put a rollover valve in the vent so if you ever turn it over you don't get covered with gas.......

  26. thanks, thats what i was going for in my head when i started on it, i wanted it to look like something you would have seen, rather than a modern recreation of whats 'cool'

i bought a large pipe today to start on the gastank. im not happy with the size so ill keep looking. i did start on some home made baffles tho!

  27. thanks man,i remember you giving me advice a while back.

Looks real good. I like the style you're sticking to. Get that leak fixed and have fun driving it. I wish I had your weather!
