Here's a couple of vintage Willys factory
    photographs showing the 1938 Willys
    coupe and the 4-door Sedan.

  4. The deck lid opening, body lines fading away into the quarter panel, and tail pan all say Willys to me.....might help if you knew what a Zephyr looked like......or better yet, a Willys! LOL!

That is a Willys...you can see the dash (37-38 vintage), as well as the mark left by the tail lights, and the gas filler opening...not to mention the pattern of the inner fender well.

    Here's some more:

Modelkitbasher, want a 39 hood & center section. I have the pair for sale very reasonable and they are in decent shape. $750 for the pair.

Here is a drawing of my car that was in August,1985 issue of Super Stock & Drag Illustrated. There was no story about the car, they used to put drawings of different cars on the same page as editorial or tech columns.

This is about as good as it gets - all steel 1940 Willys which I have checked out in great detail several times with the late owner. Hilborn injected 540ci Hemi, 6 speed T56, Mark Williams rear. Car is now for sale for $185k and worth every penny. Phenomenal build quality and attention to detail....

    Hi All,
Scanned a few more pics that I took in the 60's at HMB and Fremont. Enjoy.

O.K., just a sneak pic. Know what this is? A 1940 Willy's dealership poster. This one is in need of some restoration work. Others are in better shape. I just peeked a bit because they are old paper. Something about a 100,000 mile warranty? How did that work?
