That shorty bus, is that the famous altered wheel base factory experimental racer from the mid sixties??!!! Something looks really odd about that one. Neat pictures

 

Where it says 54 Chevy is his signature, it appears under all of his posts.

 

Thats a Studebaker, we have a 23 that looks just like that...well it has paint and is driveable, but it's the same body shape.

 

LOL, to be totally honest, it got me too when I first saw it, once I realized what it was I laughed!

This is, again, a picture from our back yard at a yard sale we held about 5 years ago. All but the furthest back black hearse and pink topped mad max car with a rocket peeking out behind the red ambulance were sold via ebay and craigslist so they aren't sitting as a result of me now

The 62 with a tarp was traded for two 51 plymouths and a rotted out 70's hearse. I know where it's currently parked not far away. The 55 was a wood frame car, okay metal but needed the wood replaced, was sold on ebay, not sure where it went. The blue and white high top was sold to someone with a skate shop in bend oregon, where it still sits last I'd heard a year ago. The white comet was traded for a 48 ford COE bread van that I still have. It was a three wheel car as someone had put it in a ditch and bent it up pretty bad. I heard that it was put together again and made a driver. The black hearse at the far back was also on this thread, seen in the tri cities area sitting by a chain link fence, it's the one with the story I posted about buying it out of the sellers living room in the last seconds of the ebay auction. The red ambulance with all the painting on it was painted by Extremo The Clown, who does sign and window and haunted house painting in Portland Oregon. Not sure where it went. It was very rusty but did run and drive well. The obnoxious gun car at the back back is the same one seen at www.nuclearwasteland.com. It later was repainted neon green, and last summer had the top cut off for some convertible cruising. I was going to junk it but like it too much, an always reliable fantastic beater so I'm going to redo it again as something different.

So hey, not all sitting and rotting.

Oh yeah, if that was taken at the yardsale, that's the yardsale an elderly guy died at. that's a heck of a story.

 

Going to be late for school today. The busses are running a bit slow!
