If I didn't personally take each of those (CO, NM, TX, and VA) they would not have been posted. Most should still be around.

And that is an old hot rod chopped '33 Plymouth coupe body to those wondering.

This was a 40's hot rod body shell still in the dirt before I made it into a driver.
The stock 58AB was in Skipper's garage several years.

Have many more shots of the '60 PEDDRO but need to find them. Fun concept shortening a 6 window sedan into a bubbletop coupe with a bed. Very crudely converted though. Doesn't appear to have ever been completed. Rot free NM steel that the owner does not wish to sell. Couple for now:

heres a few, these cars are sold. My guess the guy that owns them will never come pick them up and they will sit and rot into the ground.

Most of SouthUrn's pics with the double stacked cars are from A-1 Wrecking in Roswell taken probably at least a year ago. There are also a few of mine in earlier posts. The yard was bought out and reopened last year and a lot has happened since. They are now actively selling and many of the cars in the pics are gone but there is still a lot of cool old iron there. The depressing part is that they are reducing their footprint and crushing cars that they somehow feel are undesirable. Attached are a few recent pics of the crush pile they have started, I am afraid to see what it looks like today.
If there is anything in there you want contact them fast, it might be saveable . . .

Yes, the pile is heavy on VDubs because an area business made a deal to strip them before being crushed. They are trying to get their footprint cut by about half and their words, all foreign, AMC, Mopar, Internationals, and anything newer than about '75 are on the highly endagered list. Plus what is already in the pile suggests they are even going farther. We are getting what we can but there is only so much one can handle . . . Sigh.

Actually an understatement. The car was essentially complete down to the dog dish hubcaps, very low rust, and pretty durn straight. Being a 4 door must have sealed its fate . . .

please don't take this personal grizzgang, but i don't understand the comments about anger ect. many of these cars were saved by the horders when the rest were crushed!! these cars are still here.. they have their reasons for saving them. sometimes i think some of these guys enjoy old cars, but don't "get it" they get short with us when we ask if they would sell, knowing we will rod it!! I'm not sure i would sell one of my projects to a rat XXXder. would rather let it rot!!!

I had my '58 Yeoman sitting outside behind the house, in the alley, for a couple years while I caught up on my other projects. My then wife told me one day that some 'kids' stopped by one day and wanted to buy it for a demo derby. LOL. She chased them off...
