Its debut was this last weekend at the LoneStar Round Up Show.

Here is the frame when I was still trying to figure out the steering linkage.

Completed with paint and floor pan.

 

Where's the done part ? That steering looks sweet bro. How low is urs ?

 

I figured out how to do mine with steering before same as urs ..but I couldn't get it turn far enough so I didn't complete it.

 

After frenching the tail lights/head lights and recessing the grill came the body work and paint.





After the white tuck -n- roll and a grenade shit knob...

 

It sits about 2 1/4 inches off the ground in the front and a little over an inch in the back. As for the turning radius... well we had to do a few 3 point turns at the show, but it is not to bad.

 

Dude that thing is sweet. yeah I was doing the three points.as well..that thing looks hard core bro I'm digging the interior. mine.should.go.in for interior this week or.next.

 

i don't have any pics of mine but i don't know if you noticed it has a suicided hood as well with the hinges chromed.out. ill post.pics tomorrow.

 

I saw those pics on the other thread. That is cool. I did what I could in the three months that I had to build it. We wanted it completed for the Lone Star Round Up in Austin. Take my word for it... he got a lot of attention when he was riding around!

I have a 1960 Garton Station Wagon that's slammed on a custom chassis. Not good enough yet for pics, though.

BROKEN PEDAL CAR... what type of tube did you use for the push bar on your daughters car?

I'm trying to decide what type of tube to use for the push bar. I know it was chromoly... curious on the diameter, tube thickness. I want to make sure it's strong enough; the first time.

 

Chromoly on everything.

This is one I made for my boy last Christmas. It's an old AMF 3 wheeled pedal car body.

 

Fresh out of the box and straight from Ebay. Managed to lower the rear in about 5 minutes. Many mods to come in the winter ...

How did you lower it so quickly? Redrill the holes in the rear bracket?

 

BPC... did you ever get the measurement of your push bar? I picked up something at the local metal supply, but I'm not sure if I'm happy with it.

Wanting to compare OD to yours. Also, what do you believe the length of the bar from the car up?

I guess it's time for me to post up in here. Been working on this one for a few months.

With my business being RC vehicles I couldn't force myself to build something I had to push or drag around, and my son is to young to pedal himself, so I am building this as a fully functioning rc vehicle.

Everything will function from the radio, drive, steer, and front and rear suspensions.

I should have the steering done tomorrow, and then the body is headed off for paint. It'll be painted black with green pin striping to match my 1965 Cadillac.
