That pic was taken at Ascot Park in 1963 at a USAC event. Chuck Hulse won the trophy dash - Don Basile looks happy and the big guy starin' in the hat is Aggie.

I've known Linda for over 30 years, and in fact lived down the street from her in Laguna Beach for a while. A lot of guys heard her respond to that question by saying "Oh, Honey, y'all wouldn't want me to disappoint y'all now would ya?"

She's a class act, in public and out of the spotlight. But every once in a a while, she'd say "Sure, Honey!"

 

Not exactly trophy girls, but close!

Before They Were Famous

No, no, no! Not the driver, the young lady on the left. She was only 19 when she posed as a race queen for this dirt track event in So. California. The year was 1959 and within the next 10 years she would go on to become one of the biggest Hollywood sex symbols in the 60's and 70's. She also did a tour of Vietnam with Bob Hope to entertain the troops. She will turn 71 this September and if you saw her recent ads on TV she still is fabulous looking. Got a hint for you, she is of Hispanic origin. Her family name is Tejada, her father coming from Bolivia. Figured out who she is yet???
Her stage name is Raquel Welch.
