Has anyone received any news on Dan King? I'm his latest victim. Contacted him for headers, made the deal, he hounded me for payment and when he finally received his money, never heard from him again. I've attempted to contact him but no response. If anyone has actually seen his work, or actually got whatever they ordered, let me know.
i think that if the wa. bbb or sheriffs office can't help, maybe you guys that have orders pending with no results should get together and have a wa. lawyer send him a letter for either finished product or refund.
My neighbor across the street is a Spokane Sheriff's deputy. I'll talk to him and see if there is anything he can do.

I got an email on the 1st from dan king stating that he was sorry for taking so long ans that by the 4th he would have my headers on their way. Today is the 8th and no headers but im still hoping.
You have been waiting since June of last year for some headers???? Doesn't it seem odd that he finally contacts you on April 1st? (April fools day) ...
Sorry, not suggesting you are a "sucker" ... just seemed kinda odd that he would send that email out on April 1st. Sure hope it isn't just a gag. Interestingly, I searched out his stuff on eBay and he lists in his ad something like "the headers are made and ready to ship". If that is the case, shouldn't you have recieived yours a long LONG time ago.
I recently read a book that stated that you could write off loses on your taxes for this same type of thing. As I recall it said to file a 1099 form and that the debtor was then on the hook to the IRS. Maybe getting the IRS on this guys ass will change his tune.
too bad i already did our taxes, and i realized that King emailed me on the 31st so maybe its not a prank, but then again i still dont have the headers soooooo..who the heck knows?
I contacted him by ebay and threatened to write ebay about his business practices. He immmediately emailed me back and promised my headers by the end of April. I think the odds of getting my headers are zero. But if they dont show up I will do everything in my power to get him kicked off of ebay so he at least wont rip anybody else off
Wow wish I had seen this thread sooner. We just spent a month near Santee CA. Would have been happy to try to sniff this puke out.
Heard from dan last night, in an email he said that the headers are done minus the baffles and will be shipping finished this morning...i guess we will see...
Dan is a piece of poop....I had my experience a few years ago when he butchered my 37 chevy pick up and told me to go f myself after he dropped it off in my drive way.....the chop was so bad that the passenger door would not open and the back window was 1" different on one side......he sprayed the truck and did not tape off my chrome so it was basically coverd in shit paint...... I HAVE THE PICS TO PROOVE IT...... $2800 down the drain and i got a shit truck......

If and when you go, arrange to have the local or state police accompany you, it's their job . Bring all your paper work incluiding the bank cleared check,and anything which indicated a promissed delivery date. If you can back him into a corner with the law present he might just reach into his cash register. Good luck.
Ladies and gentlemen believe it or not after 14 or 15 months i have recieved my headers!!! My advice is to continue to call and email dan untill he comes through...thanks to all for your suggestions and support!!!
