All the Poorboys will be there - I'll be in the '33 Plymouth coupe I just traded for.

Don't forget we're hosting a pre-show party / BBQwith an area for camping out back - everyone's welcome!

Haha - yeah Rich, you're right, I've got automotive ADD. I just traded the Shoebox for a 33 Plymouth coupe. Needs some updating but it's a solid driver.

Fiddy, if you're talking about the purple caddy, that was like EIGHT cars ago, not counting the 'new' Chevy Colorado or Hummer I drove for a while because the wife insisted I needed a 'nice' daily driver. I've got a beater 55 Chevy pickup for my daily driver now and couldn't be happier.

No current project car here but the Wife and I will be in attendance.
My Wife Jennifer A.K.A (Miss Jenna Veve) will be competing in the Miss Beatersville competition. A Link to some of her pictures can be found here.

Online voting for the contest will start soon, When it does I will post a link to the voting page. We are a military couple with me being stationed at Ft. Knox, KY. I am saving up for my next project now but as we speak I have to amuse myself with vintage tool restoration to fill my garage. Working on a mid 40's Atlas drill press soon.

Jenn is about the most supportive a woman could be when it comes to my hobby, She expressed an interest in competing in the contest so this is my way of giving back some of that support. We should be attending the hootenanny as well if The Army gives me enough time to do that LOL.

Also another plug (sorry) This Saturday the 14th is Rockabilly night at Third St. Dive for any other local Louisvillians, we will be there so if anyone wants to come hang out please do!

  15. Will be there early morning driving in from Lexington, will be bringing 37 ford p/u "Suckerpunch" an also bring down my 62 Galaxie.Should have a vendor booth also come by an see us at Shelby's Speed & Kustom.

Hey the support is appreciated a LOT. Jenn says thanks as well. She said she would love to take a pic with you and your car as well. And as for me I always like to make new car friends. If you ever need any help with a project I would be more than happy to throw in a set of hands gratis, just because I love working on cars and helping folks out. (O.K. not completely gratis, beers on you)

Same goes out to any local Louisvillians!

Hey I will repost this the Thursday before the show but as i live in Shepherdsville KY,
Anyone who wants my phone number in case they need help in a vehicular breakdown or emergency can send me a private message and I will give it to them.

If you break down in the louisville area I can respond with hand tools and a gas can if you need it.

Oh I posted earlier about rockabilly night at Third Street Dive in Louisville.
BAD NEWS we found out that the owner of the bar Steve Gordon, passed away this morning. If any of you local Louisvillians are familiar with the place and the man it is a sad day for Louisville.

His was one of the only local bars in the Louisville area to consistently allow new local bands to play at his club, no matter the quality of their music. He was a great man who had an amazing sense of humor, a deep love for the offbeat community, and managed a place that was a lot of fun to hang out at.
According to their facebook page they may be planning a benefit show soon. If that happens, and whether you knew him or not, you should come out and lift a glass (or can) in his memory.

    R.I.P. Gordo

It will be the perfect maiden voyage (and not too far from home too incase something goes wrong).

Hope to see you guys there. Unfortunately I won't recognize most of you, but I'll know your cars :D
