  1. Guys;the Big Tire was off of I-94 west of Detroit proper. It was an advertisement for Uniroyal brand tires.

    More likely it's the one on I-94. just
    outside of Detroit.I'm not sure but I think
    a slightly more modernized version of the
    same tire is still there.

    Yes, chaos10meter, it's the one that was at the '64 world's fair. Whether it's ever been replaced (or just maintained), I have no knowledge on that question. Cool stunt, and after that the sales of those Uniroyal Tires, especially the red-letter Tiger Paws, got a boost!
