    some may have seen this under construction; Flash Gordon Motorhome being built in Grants Pass, OR by Randy Grubb of Blastoline fame...calls it "DECOLINER"

    No, really, purpose-built house cars really go back way further than that, they just didn't start calling them motorhomes until later. I can prove it, but I have to get my book and scanner together first.

    Ahhh yes, Goldfield Nevada behind the firehouse, Owned by Richie Clyne, the guy behind the Imperial Palace Auto Collection, as are most of the old vehicles in and around the firehouse.

    My grandfather restored a Travco just like this back in the early 80's. Same color combo. 318 Polyhead w/ a pushbutton automatic. I used to get the biggest kick outa riding up front with him. My grandfathers been gone since '86, but the RV is languishing in what is now my uncles backyard. It's been in the same spot for 26 years! What a shame.:(
