I intend to use it like a toy hauler. Maybe do a little camping, swap meets etc., but always be able to haul cars.

That Zephyr would be good as is but if you really want a different flavor and you had the means, I'd like to see a chopped/carson topped custom made out of it! There is the chore of adding the extra bracing but it's been done and how!!

I know these aren't Lincolns but you get it.

Lengthen the doors out like a Tudor, and that would be a dead ringer for the Aussie "sloper" body style from the era.

I totally agree, although it'd be a ton of work, considering all the curves.
This is from years ago, it's a `37, but you get the idea.

You guys are amazing and giving me hope. I was just about to give up hope for a cool looking vehicle. It was part it out or look for a rusted out coupe and take the top off it. Thanks loads. This is the best a guy could ask for and then some. Now to get them all on one page so I can see which is the one I like best. Amazing is all I can say. I'm at a loss for words. Flabbergasted. Thrilled, ecstatic.
Bless each and everyone of y'all.

This is easier in photoshop, so here's the lengthened door revision.

Combine with garlic, shallots, butter, and bread crumbs then bake to perfection.

    Sorry, couldn’t resist.

On these older models I think the scallops look better on the side, sort of a panel motif:

Oh, thought I should tell you, I think I figured out what that "smell" is in your interior too. No need to thank me, it's all in a days work:

Just out of curiosity, why can't you build it as a sedan?

I've owned coupes over the years, but found 2 doors and 4 doors to be so much better for actually doing things and using the car, plus they can look bad-ass easily and be unique and not a cookie cutter poser car like I see at so many shows.

Lot of potential there.. Here are some ideas that ran across my mind. Ran out of time - but you get the idea of where I'm going.

(Sorry on shaving that headlight peak; got to grab a bite to eat - so just squint on that.. haha ;))

It's been sectioned in a couple of different spots; most of the stance comes from that. I'll attach a transition GIF of only the body mods layers so you can study it if you want. See if you can catch where they're at. When I chopped it, I laid the windshield back just a tad, putting most of the drop in the rear of the roof. The rear fenders and trunk have been extended, and the bumper guards, on the rear, were sectioned to compliment. The front clip looked a little stubby to me too, so I slid it forward an inch. Other than that, it's just the normal tweaking. Here you go on that GIF man.

I was staring at this while eating breakfast this morning and was thinking about the owner's request not to chop it. So, I thought I'd chop it, but leave the side glass stock. Anyway, then I got a little carried away..

Here's another approach: taper-section keeping stock glass.
