Both have 3 inch dropped axles from Sid's down south. Reversed eye top leaf with a couple of leafs remove. Flipped axle with small notch in the back. Drive straight and true.

    Hi all!

I've put a 77 camaro clip in my 57, and am wondering what power booster/master cylinder set-up can I run. I have the Camaro, but because I'm putting a 351W in it, my space is weird an am wondering if I can run something smaller. I heard of one guy who ran a Ranger set-up in his 59.

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks.

Can you show me what you mean?

I had a 59 Custom Cab and a 59 bottom of the line, and they had the exact same hood, the only peak I can think of is the fine one in the center, and that can be sanded out believe it or not.

(Not mine but a locally owned Custom Cab)

Here's what my hood from a '59 looks like.

I would like to get some 15"s and some wide white BFGs. Also a nice custom bumper is still on the drawing board.

Do you have to take your leaf spring to a shop to do the reversed eye or can I do it my self. Call me stupid but I am not positive what that is.

    Thanks for helping a newb

Just picked up 58' f100 from fellow hamber irondoctor near wichita...pretty rust free just needs to be spruced up to be road worthy..but it will most likely be a winter project!! Yourself...

I have a 1957 F100 I picked up this spring. It is out of Nevada. Fairly solid but also has a light rat rod patina to it. I am going to get it running driving as soon as I have time.

Interesting, and it's not a 60 hood with the front vent opened up with 59 mesh in it?

I wonder if this is an early VS late kind of change?

    Thanks for the photo.

I thought It might be custom cab ?? might have been switched or like you said a mid year design change. Need to look and see if the 60's went smooth or pop up.

Buddy of mine down in Turlock just got his '58 running. Love the color of his rims. The whole truck turned out nice. He still has plenty he wants to do with it, but it's a driver.

Can I toss in? It's 327 Chevy powered on a Chevy clip and a C'd rear running a Chevy rear.
I got it from a HAMBer in Phoenix.
