    so I have decided to use the old frame again... I am going to make it perfectly straight (chop/replace the left main beam, my buddy has a jig and a metal shop...) I started with the plasma cutter and lopped off everything except the motor mounts...

    Yeah for sure... In the humid ky air it gets very curly (which I can't stand) the real length is past my shoulders... Lol

    LOL, I think you grew some boobs too. Make sure you square the frame up the way it is first, then get to modifying it. Check it for squareness routinely during the build, and don't forget to fish plate all of those metal "joints" for added strength!

    was going to use a bee-hive style oil filter bracket, but will use the original for the period effect... did they have bee-hive filter housings in the late 20s?

    And regarding 20's beehives... I don't know if they were available in the 20's, but I know the 8BA V8 wasn't. ;)
